Die Metta Vihara ist ein Buddhistisches Waldkloster in der Theravada-Tradition. Es wurde 1997 von Ayya Khema gegründet und liegt zwischen Wiesen und Wäldern in den Allgäuer Voralpen. Die abgeschiedene Lage und die herrliche Natur bieten optimale Bedingungen, um den Weg nach innen zu gehen. Der spirituelle Leiter des Klosters ist der Ehrw. Nyanabodhi.

Wat Ananda Youth (WAY) was formerly known as the Ananda Metyarama Buddhist Youth Circle. The Ananda Metyarama Buddhist Youth Circle (AMBYC) was born on 23 November 1966. It was the first Buddhist Youth Circle in Singapore. 30 years since its inception, AMBYC is proud to record many memorable events and contributions to Buddhism and preserving the Thai Theravada Tradition in Singapore.

Wat Bowonniwet Vihara is a first class Royal Buddhist monastery (Thai: raja wara vihara) of the Dhammayut tradition, located on the northeast side of Bangkok’s Ratanakosin island, just inside the old city wall bordering Banglumpoo canal, on Pra Sumeru road. The monastery’s name comes from the Pali language: Pavara+niwesa and translates as the Excellent Abode Monastery.

Wat Buddhadhamadharo (aka. Wat Concord) residing at Concord, California was found to gratify and commemorate Ven Ajaan Lee Dhammadharo, Asokaram temple, Samutprakan, Thailand, who was a significant disciple of Ven Luangpu Mun Bhuritatto a grand master of Thailand forest tradition Buddhism. In addition, this monastery is one of few official branch monasteries of Asokaram temple.
Ven Roemchai Chinwangso with 37 vassa (years in robe), the abbot of Wat Buddhadhammadharo, has ordained into monkhood since May 18th, 1975 at Asokaram temple, Thailand. He named the organization after the monastic name of Pra Sutthidham Rangsi Kampeera Mathajarn (aka. Ven Ajaan Lee Dhammadharo) at Asokaram Temple.

„Wat Buddhavihara Berlin“ ist ein buddhistisches Kloster, dessen rechtliche Trägerfunktion sich in der Aufgabe des „Thailändischen Buddhisten-Vereins e. V.“ befindet. Der Verein wie das Kloster selbst hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, mit der Errichtung dieses „Wat Buddhavihara Berlin“ ein Stück buddhistischer Kultur sowie thailändischer Lebensweise hier in Berlin präsentieren zu können. Gleichzeitig bietet diese Einrichtung den hier lebenden thailändischen Bürgern die Möglichkeit an, ihre kulturelle Lebensweise zu praktizieren, den buddhistischen Gläubigen, ihren Glauben durchzuführen, sowie anderen Interessierten, anderwärtige Kulturlandschaft kennenzulernen.
Um diesen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden, hat einst der Thailändische Buddhisten-Verein e. V. bei der buddhistischen Ordenverwaltung in Thailand mit einer Bitte um Entsendung von Mönchen ersucht. Die Bitte wurde erhört, und seit 1998 sind nun drei Mönche im Kloster feststationiert. Die drei Ehrwürdigen Mönche, die diese Pflicht im anderwärtigen Ort auf sich genommen haben, sind Herr Pramaha Payom Sudassano, Abt des Klosters, Herr Pramaha Bunma Punyanando und Herr Pramaha Anusak Candasilo.

At Wat Florida Dhammaram our mission and purpose is to provide a religious sanctuary to all of those faithful and interested in the teachings of Lord Buddha. Our monastery observes religious functions of the Buddhist calendar and provides daily chanting and meditation practice. All are welcome.
