Samatha meditation involves mindfulness of breathing. Paying attention to the breath ecourages the mind to calm and still. Stillness brings wellbeing and understanding.

The Monaghan group meets at Corcaghan Community Centre most Mondays at 7.00 pm. The group is open to anyone who wants to come along at any time.

There is no charge for teaching but a donation towards cost of room hire is appreciated.


The Insight Meditation Group, Dublin, has been in existence for over 25 years. We meet each Wednesday evening in Ballybrack, Co. Dublin.  
This meeting includes a period of sitting meditation, ongoing discussion on a book related to the practice.
