Hillary Hitt is a student of the now deceased Venerable Buddhist Monk Scholar Ajahn Bhikkhu Buddhadasa. During her stay in Thailand over the last 21 years she has been working on translations of several of the great teacher's Dharma texts. She teaches The Dharma of the Theravada tradition and teaches the Anapanasati (Mindfulness With Breathing) Meditation practice taught at Suan Mokkh, The Garden of Liberation, located in Chaiya, Surat Thani.

Buddha Bhumi Buddhist Center Project is a non-governmental, religious, educational and social service organization for the all around development of mankind. This project is concerned with the education of the helpless and underprivileged children who do not have access to proper education. Besides that, it will conduct training programs to the Buddhist monks for the progress of the world peace.
Panditarama Lumbini offers a supportive, comfortable and peaceful setting for dhamma-students seeking practice. The meditation method is Intensive Vipassana in the tradition of the Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw of Myanmar, which consists of sitting meditation and formal walking meditation throughout the day. Almost daily interviews and regular Dhamma-talks in English. Meditators observe Noble Silence and keep eight precepts.
Panditarama Lumbini offers an ongoing retreat year-round. Meditators may schedule their individual retreat from a few days up to several months starting at any time of the year.
The resident teacher, Venerable Vivekananda, has trained with the Venerable Sayadaw U Panditabhivamsa of Myanmar for fifteen years. Venerable Vivekananda teaches meditation in English, Burmese, German and French.
Under the active leadership of founder/ organizer of the Vihara Ven. Bhikshu Jnanapurnik Mahasthavira, Vishwa Shanti Vihara was established on Oct. 5, 1984 in a piece of land with a new small monastery generously donated by a devotee Miss Chaitya Maya Shakya, for the noble purpose of strengthening Theravada Buddhist Education and Meditation practices and also as a centre for Buddhist studies and researches. Through the generous donation of Malaysian and Singaporean devotees it was renovated to its present form on Oct 25, 1997, especially to house a World Peace Buddhist School to produce educated and capable Buddhist monks and nuns, in order to produce man-power for upgrading and propagating Theravada Buddhism in Nepal.
Ananda Kuti Vihar is the first Theravada Vihar in modern Nepal, actively participating in the preservation and propagation of Theravada Buddhism through various ancient and modern techniques.
