The non-profit organization Buddha-Haus, Meditations-und Studienzentrum, e.V. was initiated by Ayya Khema and founded by her students in 1989. Ven. Nyanabodhi Bhikkhu was authorized with the spiritual leadership by Ven. Ayya Khema.
