Wat Pah Nanachat is a Buddhist monastery in Northeast Thailand, in the Theravada Forest Tradition. It was established by Ajahn Chah.
Kow Tahm Insight Meditation Centre is situated on a mountainside, amongst unspoilt jungle and coconut plantations, overlooking the southern shoreline of Koh Phangan. This beautiful location has been offering meditation retreats for over 25 years.
Monthly English retreat
A ten-day retreat in English is conducted from the 10th to 20th of each month.
There is no online or pre-registration. You must register in person at the Kow Tham Center from 8:30am-4.00pm on the first day of the retreat (10th of the month).
Monthly Russian retreat
A ten-day retreat in Russian is conducted from the 23rd to the 30th of each month. This retreat began in April and will continue every month indefinitely. A translator will interpret all instructions and teachings.

The mission of Wat Pah Pateeparam is to train and preserve the Dhamma-Vinaya of Theravada Buddhism, the teachings and code of monastic discipline as laid down by the Buddha.
Wat Marp Jan (WMJ) is a Thai forest monastery established 29 years ago by the current Abbot, Ajahn Anan Akiñcano. Following from the tradition that Luang Pu Chah, Ajahn Anan’s teacher, had set up, there is a strong dedication to upholding the Dhamma-Vinaya, the monastic code and discipline laid down by the Buddha as well as keeping an environment of quietitude, simplicity and communal harmony.
Indriya Retreat is a new donation-based Dhamma and Meditation Centre established to take the opportunities of practising vipassana meditation to international travellers. We are located in the jungle off ‘Coconut Lane’, near the village of Srithanu on the island of Koh Phangan. Situated along a small stream and nestled amongst established fruit trees and tropical plants, the 2.5-acre (one hectare) site is secluded and peaceful. The meditation centre serves spiritual seekers arriving on the island in search of the Buddha’s Teaching. The residential retreats are conducted in English and Russian. Everyone is welcome to experience the Buddha’s Teaching.
The Venerable Ajahn Poh, Abbot of Suan Mokkh and disciple of Venerable Ajahn Buddhadasa, is the Spiritual Father of Indriya Retreat. Indriya Retreat and Anthony receive his confidence, support and guidance on a regular basis.
Sathira-Dhammasthan, founded in 1987, is a learning community for peace and harmony, providing a variety of programs for people of all ages, genders, and walks of life. It is set in nine acres of trees, with lotus ponds, winding paths and meditative nooks. It is a tiny drop of water, radiating peace and serenity amidst the busy and bustling city of Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand.
Suan Mokkh is a forest monastery along the coast of Southern Thailand, 600 km from Bangkok. It was founded in 1932 by Buddhadasa Bhikkhu and grew to become the most innovative and progressive Buddhist teaching center in Siam. Although Buddhadasa Bhikkhu has passed away, much of his work continues.
